A graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine (New Orleans, 2010), he completed his ophthalmology residency at the same institution and his fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami (2015). In 2022, he completed the Medical CEO Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

He is Vice President of the Asociación Centro Láser and Medical Director of the Fundación Banco de Córneas de la República Dominicana, where he has led the development of advanced corneal processing techniques, including corneal allogenic intrastromal ring segments (CAIRS), and transplant outreach missions for patients with limited financial resources.
