About Dr. González
Dr. Mayreline González is an ophthalmologist in Santo Domingo, fellowship-trained in oculoplastics, dedicated to the plastic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, tear ducts, and orbit.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), completed her ophthalmology residency at the Hospital Central de las Fuerzas Armadas, and finished her fellowship in oculoplastics at Hospital Dr. Elías Santana.
Her oculoplastics training includes the international congress of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) and Latin American continuing education courses in the specialty, along with rotations in cornea, refractive surgery, and pediatric ophthalmology.
She has presented at the congresses of the Sociedad Dominicana de Oftalmología and has taken part in community eye care outreach programs across the country.
