Dr. Adalgisa Corona is an ophthalmologist in Santo Domingo, fellowship-trained in neuro-ophthalmology, dedicated to diagnosing the conditions that affect the connection between the eye and the nervous system.
A Doctor of Medicine, Cum Laude, from Universidad Central del Este, she completed her residency in ophthalmology and her fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Hospital Dr. Elías Santana (UNPHU).
She is Head of the Department of Neuro-Ophthalmology and Associate Director of the Department of Imaging, as well as a professor of neuro-ophthalmology, training residents and specialists.
An active researcher, she has published in indexed journals (Journal of Glaucoma, Journal of Neuro-Ophthalmology) and presented at meetings of the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society (NANOS).
