The eye is treated as a whole
Many conditions cross several areas. Someone with diabetes may need retina, cataract, and glaucoma care at once. Here they are seen together, not separately.
Comprehensive ophthalmology since 1947
Ten areas of specialization, more than 20 dedicated ophthalmologists, and every diagnostic study in one place. So your case, however complex, is solved without going from one clinic to another.
Why it matters
Most centers cover one or two areas. Bringing all of ophthalmology together, with real subspecialists in each one, changes what we can do for you.
Many conditions cross several areas. Someone with diabetes may need retina, cataract, and glaucoma care at once. Here they are seen together, not separately.
Each area is led by an ophthalmologist trained specifically in it. Not the same doctor for everything: the right one for your case.
Your history, your tests, and your specialists all live together. If your case needs several hands, they work in sync so you are not shuttling between clinics.
Since 1947. Volume and experience allow internal second opinions and confident decisions on the toughest cases.

We cover the main areas of ophthalmology in one place: refractive surgery, cataract, cornea, glaucoma, retina and vitreous, pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, oculoplastics, neuro-ophthalmology, dry eye, and low vision. Each area has ophthalmologists dedicated to it.
Yes. Since 1947, Centro Láser has brought the specialties, the diagnostic testing, and a team of subspecialists together under one roof. If your case needs more than one area (say, cataract and glaucoma), the team works together so you never have to travel from one clinic to another.
If you're not sure, a general eye exam evaluates your case and refers you to the right area of specialization within the same center. You can also tell us your main symptom when you book, and we'll point you to the right specialist.
No, it isn't required. You can request your appointment directly. If another doctor referred you or you have prior test results, bring them to your visit to speed up your evaluation.
Yes. Our pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus area evaluates children of all ages: vision screenings, eye misalignment (strabismus), lazy eye (amblyopia), and refractive errors. Early detection is key to how a child's vision develops.
We work with the country's major insurers and Dominican health insurance plans (ARS). Check your coverage online or message us to confirm your case before your visit.
